A beautiful new view at Uluru

Australia's most breathtaking attraction is even more incredible with this new Voyages Indigenous Tourism experience.

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia has announced the launch of a new fully-immersive light and sound show at one of Australia’s most iconic and breathtaking destinations.

The show is called Wintjiri Wiru‘a beautiful view out to the horizon’ in the local Anangu language – and it was developed with the custodians of the Country on which it is performed. Lights, lasers, projections, and drones bring to life a chapter of the Mala ancestral story, with exquisite choreography and visual artistry.

Visitors will take in the spectacular show from a sustainably-built wheelchair-accessible platform on top of a desert dune, one that offers stunning panoramic views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Voyages also offers accessible transport to and from the site, to ensure you arrive and depart in comfort.

Matthew Cameron-Smith, CEO of Voyages, said: “We are honoured that we can share the cultural importance of the Mala story with our guests, through such an illuminating and captivating experience in the spiritual heart of Australia.”

“As custodians of the land and this part of the Mala story, the Anangu consultation group has carefully guided us on the Wintjiri Wiru experience, from conception to launch, to generously share their story with the world.”

Shows will run from May 2023. Find out more at
