Adventure Awaits with All Access Holidays

What adventure might await you? All Access Holidays is here to help you find out.

All Access Holidays is an NDIS-registered company that provides supported holidays to people with disabilities. Our motto – ‘Adventure Awaits’ – encapsulates our philosophy, that those adventures await everyone.

But our motto isn’t just some tired, cliche marketing tool. It poses a deeper existential question. The call to adventure is as old as humankind: the call to explore, to traverse the unknown corners of this wonderful world. It asks: where are you? What adventure would you like to take? If not, why not?

Our History

All Access Holidays has been operating since 2017, employing people who love travel and have experience working in the disability sector. Our aim is to make travel as seamless as possible for people with disabilities.

With the introduction of the NDIS, we realised we could ensure travellers had a holistic holiday experience that catered to their specific needs. With that concept in mind, we hit the ground running!

… well, not quite. In our first six months of operation, we provided just one holiday – to a lovely lady (who still holidays with us), who wanted a beach getaway on the Gold Coast.

We soon realised that it takes time for parents, guardians, support coordinators, residential house managers, and people within the disability sector to gain trust in a business.

We worked hard, running small group holidays, and gradually gained that trust. The lessons we’ve learned have only served to make All Access Holidays a better company.

The Year That Changed Everything

In February 2022, All Access Holidays celebrated its 5th anniversary. In those five years, we’ve travelled far and wide, and we’ve literally (as well as metaphorically) traversed some interesting terrain.

All Access Holidays has facilitated over 100 holidays in 63 destinations, places as varied as Spain, Japan, England, Thailand, and Northern Australia.

More recently, due to global events, we have tailored our holidays to regional Victoria. The pandemic has brought challenges to every industry, none more so than the travel and disability sectors. The assumptions, freedoms, and landscape in which All Access Holidays operated in 2019 are no longer relevant in 2022.

So, like many other businesses, we ‘pivoted’.

To meet the new needs of our travellers, we arranged for social distance in groups, implemented infection control policies, performed temperature checks, and introduced myriad procedures to ensure the safety of our travellers and staff.

What’s Next for All Access Holidays

Over the next twelve months, All Access Holidays will offer up to 30 different holidays in a variety of locations. We run two kinds of holiday, group and individual, with activities that our participants say range from ‘relaxed’ to ‘active’.

Group holidays vary in size, from three to 12 participants. These holidays suit travellers who enjoy the chance to socialise with new people, and who want the opportunity to forge lifelong friendships.

Our planned group holidays include:

  • Adelaide Overlander: If you like trains, this is the holiday for you! We’ll be travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Overlander, and experiencing everything the City of Churches has to offer.
  • Sydney Home And Away: Perfect for fans of Home And Away, activities on this holiday will include a guided tour of Summer Bay and exploring Sydney.
  • Queenscliff Music Festival: This holiday is ideal for music lovers. Dance the weekend away at Victoria’s premiere country music event.

Our individual and 1:1 trips offer a slightly different experience from our group holidays. 1:1 holidays are just that: a traveller and an All Access Holidays travel companion. These holidays are tailored to the exact needs of the traveller, from the destination to the activities. So, the only thing that limits where you can go and what you can do is your own imagination!

Past 1:1 holidays have included trips to Japan, England, Darwin, and Broome.

At All Access Holidays, we pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for all your travel needs. We arrange the transport, accommodation, activities, and attend to any care needs that arise. We’re there to provide the level of support you need.
