Good news this week for anyone who has to travel with medication or food. Qantas announced changes to its cabin weight rules.
From March 25, domestic travellers can bring on board a cabin bag weighing up to 10kg and a second bag weighing up to 4kg. The total weight is still 14kg, but you no longer have to evenly distribute the weight between two bags. Previously each bag was only allowed to weigh 7kg.

In the UK, Newquay Aiport staff have started to learn sign language so they can assist passengers with hearing difficulties. We hope this program spreads to all airports.
An accessible music festival
We are incredibly excited about Ability Fest in Melbourne. This one-day music festival has great access and inclusion. The Coburg Velodrome will be transformed into a completely accessible venue with the inclusion of elevated platforms, pathways, quiet zones, companion ticketing, ramps, stacks of friendly volunteers & of course accessible toilets are a priority of the Ability Fest team.
