Squishy Caelus loves his Wonsie

Squishy Caelus is an on-the-go young guy, and his Wonsie bodysuit is perfect day-to-day wear for this active adventurer.

Living on the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales, Caelus (AKA Squishy) loves the outdoors and enjoys getting out and about as often as possible.

Caelus and his family are frequent visitors to the Australian Reptile Park, where he enjoys hanging out with the kangaroos and watching the turtles. His family also enjoy bush walking – particularly Rumbalara Reserve, as the track is wide enough for Caelus’s wheelchair. In summer, Caelus loves visiting North Avoca beach, Avoca beach lagoon, and the Terrigal beach rockpools.

The one thing these varied adventures have in common? Caelus’s Wonsie, his go-to everyday clothing.

Several years ago, searching for a solution to prevent Caelus removing his nappy, a therapist at Cerebral Palsy Alliance suggested Caelus try wearing a bodysuit from Wonsie. This Aussie brand specialises in bodysuits for kids and adults.

“We initially bought Wonsie bodysuits to prevent Caelus taking his nappy off,” says his mother, Kimmi. “But they quickly became his primary clothing items, after seeing how comfortable he was in them.”

Wonsie bodysuits work for all kinds of adventures, any time of year.

Wonsie’s soft cotton bodysuits are available in styles suitable for all seasons, and they work across a range of situations. They have back-zip jumpsuits to prevent unwanted undressing, tummy-access styles for feeding tube access, and every day basic styles for nappy changing – these are the ones Caelus loves the most.

“We love Wonsie bodysuits for how easy they are to get on and off him, and the snap-button access to change his nappies,” Kimmi says. “They are durable, easy-to-use, and most importantly, comfortable for Caelus.”

Caelus wears a Wonsie bodysuit throughout the day, then changes into a fresh one at bed-time. He loves that they come in a range of bright, fun colours so he can change up his style whenever he likes. He can wear them under other clothing in winter for extra warmth, and in summer the short sleeveless Wonsie suits are perfect for keeping Caelus cool.

Wonsie have recently expanded their range to include back-zip swimsuits, to ensure no unwanted undressing or nappy access occurs at the beach or the pool. These are available along with a range of other useful items, including reusable swim nappies, bibs, and bandanas, at the click of a button online.

Wonsie is a registered NDIS Provider, and offers worldwide shipping. Purchase their products direct via their website, or email the team to discuss your specific needs and solutions. Make sure you follow Squishy Caelus’s adventures on Facebook, too!
