Everything looks a little different this year. That includes travel, socialising and most definitely big events. The 2020 Disability Expo has shifted online, but don’t let that fool you – it is as interactive and community-minded as ever, with a brimming line-up of exhibitors, seminars and entertainment.
The Virtual Disability Expo will run from 10am to 5pm on Friday, 4th September and from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, 5th September across its usual regions of Sydney, Nepean, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The theme for the event, which is facilitated by the Social Impact Institute, is ‘My Future, My Choice.’

Anyone can register for free and convenient connection with hundreds of exhibitors. The beauty of a virtual event is its ease of access for those who could not otherwise attend in person, as well as a diverse range of ways to engage. The event will include webinars with live question and answer streams, interactive games, polls and prizes and the chance to chat over text and video with exhibitors.
The Virtual Disability Expo is a wonderful forum for connecting with community members, hearing industry updates straight from the horse’s mouth and picking up tips from experts in their field. The event will feature virtual participant concierges, branded booths, virtual exhibition hall and conference facilities and the ability to share brochures, videos and information. You’ll be able to filter products and services based on your region and areas of interest.
Exhibitors present at the virtual will include government and advocacy organisations, aids and equipment providers, financial and legal services, education and employment opportunities, the social and leisure sector, transport and vehicles, health and medical services and professionals and support services such as home care providers.
